Y.M. Chen, Ph.D. (OM), L.Ac., has practiced and specialized in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for psychosomatic disorders, neuromuscular, and musculoskeletal pain since 1991. He has studied and trained at the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hong Kong, the Chinese Taiyuit Acupuncture Research Institute of Hong Kong, and Amoy University, China.
He has received the “Outstanding Medical Treatment Golden Award” from The Third World and Asia Traditional Medicine Conference and a Doctor of Philosophy in Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University. Currently, he is the president of Integrated Acupuncture Medicine, Inc. in Anthem, AZ.
He was previously a member of The American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the World Association of Tung’s Acupuncture, the American Abdominal Acupuncture Medical Association, and American Liberty University. He is the former president and vice president of two Arizona acupuncture associations and vice president of Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture and Research Foundation (ZSAREF). In addition, he was the co-author of Chinese Ocular Diagnosis and Periocular Acupuncture.
Dr. Chen has been semi-retired from his private practice, but he continues to research and enhance Integrated and Clinical Ocular Healthcare (IOH). He is also working closely with The EuroMed Foundation of AZ to provide supportive and alternative medical treatments for those in need of recovery.
